"I had the displeasure of visiting this Ross location on today. I am visiting from Texas and have never had such horrible customer service at a Ross store. I was second in line while the lady in front of me had a large purchase. I don’t know if the cashier requested help or not but after waiting about 5 mins another employee came up front and started putting away hangers Now at this time there is a line building up yet she just continuously puts away hangers while looking over towards the customers in line. Two more employees come up to the register the only cashier at the registers is still helping the same customer while the rest of us are waiting and I’ve been waiting nearly 10 mins. Two of the employees walk off. In the meantime 3 employees come through the door and clock in. The hanger lady is still doing hangers while the employees that just came in are waiting for instructions. I’ve been waiting nearly 15 mins by now and the First Lady is still being waited on. Finally all two employees get on a register including the hangar lady and start calling customer to the registers all at once. This was the utmost worst experience I’ve ever had. The store was not that busy and when I came to the front to check out I was the only person in line for a short amount of time. To sit around and make customers who are spending their money wait when you have employees who could have come up front and check customers out is appalling. I hate that this was my first time ever coming to Iowa and having such an experience. Needless to say I won’t be returning but the customer service issue definitely needs attention for other customers who reside here. In my time working in retail, customers came first, if you were doing something and saw a line or even a customer in line you stopped what you were doing took care of your customers and then went back to your task. I was in the store on Friday Aug 18th around 11am."
