"Justin was fantastic. I didn’t have the start to my morning that I was looking for and had a dead battery in my car. My husband jumped me and I called beforehand to make sure someone was able to swap out my battery. He was beyond friendly and so helpful. I will definitely be back. Thank you, Justin!!"

"Justin refused to assist in a battery change because it was 'too cold' and couldn't tell us what their actual policy was on battery change as we got two different answers from employees from yesterday until today. The staff at the university location was extremely helpful despite being already busy putting in batteries that Justin refused to do."

"Wanted to pull the trouble code for the MIL(check engine light) and asked to use their scantool. Was told they had to do it and they wouldn't clear any codes. Ok, fine, but then the guy didn't know how to use the tool, couldn't get it to establish a connection and ended up triggering additional fault codes due to his incompetence and his lack of training or knowledge on how to use their Autel scan tool. Then proceeded to blame my vehicle instead of admitting he didn't know how to use the tool. Went to NAPA and borrowed their cheap $50 scan tool and got what I needed very easily. Wont be using this Advanced Auto parts store anymore. Don't trust these guys to hook anything up in your car!"

"FIRST TIME HERE, Parts were pulled and waiting for me when I got to the store, person was with me right away. "Quick and on top of it" no pressure and didn't try to sell me on anything else. Will be using them more. There online ordering is better than most and service was spot on."

"The manager wouldn't accept my return for an in store credit. I tried to return a rack and pinion steering module for a 2006-2013 Impala. The female manager, long blonde hair, glasses, 60+ years old, argued with me that the device had been used. The paint markings were still in line with each other, showing that nothing had been moved. She then said that there was grease on the device, which wasn't grease, but it it is a protective oil to prevent rust that is applied on at the manufacturing facility. I showed her the customer history paper, since I don't have the receipt. The paper shows the SKU# and my name and address on it. She said that there were other things on it and she didn't know what was what even though it clearly showed the sku # for the specific items purchased. She did not want to help me in any way except to tell me that she would not accept my return at all. The store website states the following: Return or exchange of NEW items (original condition and packaging, unopened and uninstalled, including all original materials supplied with the item) without proof of purchase (store receipt or online order number) may be made, at Advance's discretion, in exchange for an Advance Auto Parts Merchandise Card."
