"First - don’t be intimated by the storefront. I didn’t expect much - after all they sell frisbees and beer and BBQ!! What a strange combination!! But it somehow works. The BBQ chicken on top of mac and cheese was very good - and there was plenty of it. My husband had the BBQ pulled pork sandwich - he thought the pork was juicy and tender.- really enjoyed his food too. If we had more time on the Island we would go again. Highly recommend"

"On the interior backside of the mall, this is a real gem of a spot for to go lunch. The barbecue flavor is amazing, and uncle D’s has a dream like setting for his barbecue/disc golf/beer shop. Amazing quality for what you’re getting in otherwise touristy and predictable area."

"Tucked away in the back corner of the Harbor Mall, walking distance from Kalapaki Beach, is a little BBQ joint that is a must stop. Uncle D’s is the real deal! We picked up the Pulled Pork Mac & Cheese, Philly Cheesesteak and Brisket Sandwiches. So damn good! Also, they’ve got a great craft beer selection along with a good selection of whiskeys and some other spirits. When you get there, tell Uncle D and his crew I say “hey”…and enjoy!"
