"We have been going to Warner Vista for almost 20 years. They have treated all of our dogs and we trusted them. We took our 7 year old dog in for his routine rabies shot. We were told that our dog had a small heart murmur and they wanted to xray him, to check it out. When they came back with our dog, the techs told us that they had a hard time getting him to settle. Our dog does NOT like to be held down. EVER! They didn't ask about this, before they took him back for the xray. Seems that the techs tried everything to get our dog to settle and held him down, while he squirmed and ended up slipping a disk. They must have forced him down, to get the xray, leading to a FATAL injury. 3 hours after we got home, our dog was paralyzed in his hind quarters. When we called the vet that same day, we were told it was from the rabies shot and wait for 24 hours. By the next morning, nothing was better and we called again. We were told to go to an Emergency Vet. What they failed to mention, was that there was NO Doctor on staff, for that Friday and Saturday and no one could see our dog. We ended up taking our boy to 2 different emergency vets, only to find out that he had stage 5 IVDD. 2 weeks later, we had to put our dog down, due to extreme pain. It was the most horrible thing we've endured. It was only after I called the office manager, that I found out that our Vet, hadn't had a day off in 3 years (why did this matter to me? I never asked about this) and that they weren't expected to be at the office 24/7. I got yelled at, when I mentioned that our vet bills were adding up, due to their egregious mistake, and told not to talk to them about bills, that they had bills they paid every single day (again, how does this pertain to us?). We told them that we wanted them to pay for the medical bills we incurred and she offered to reimburse us for our visit that day. (it never happened). They told me that this was a training situation, for their techs and they should have brought our dog back in that same day of the injury. Unfortunately, it was too late. We had to put our dog down 2 weeks later, after no medication would help and we were beyond the point of surgery. Horrible customer service, for the supposed office manager and so unprofessional!! We were devastated by our loss and just want this office to be held accountable. Don't expect that to happen here. We have sent them registerd mail, outlining our complaints and asking them to take care of some basic medical bills and have never gotten a reply from this office. Stay away from this Vet!!"
