"My son had a great experience learning from Ken. He is a kind, patient teacher and has generations of experience he is yearning to share with the students. It's rare to find this level of skill being shared and taught. We can't wait for our next opportunity to attend!"

"I was blessed to be able to spend two and half years learning from Ken. He is incredibly knowledgeable after 40+ years working in high end furniture/fixtures and shares that expertise with the same precision. In my time with here Ken guided me through building: a game table, bunk bed, treasure chest, chessboard, picture frames, and more. Hopefully I'll be able to get back in with him in the future!"

"I have loved every minute of my experience learning with Ken! He is skilled and knowledgeable and also an engaging and excellent teacher. When I started taking lessons, I could never have imagined how much I could learn about the craft and art of making things. I would recommend the school to anyone, young or old, who wants to learn craftsmanship, care, and discipline."

"There are few teachers and craftsmen as gifted as Ken. He’s one of a kind. Not only does he have an incredible workshop and is extremely talented in his craft, he is encouraging, kind, and compassionate. He is patient with my three boys and they absolutely LOVE going to class. He knows how to command and teach respect from his young students and inspire them to achieve and set goals. My kids have fun, but they are also learning incredible life lessons and building their character while creating with their hands and learning new skills. Taking classes with Ken will be one of the best decisions you could make for yourself or your family!"

"I've been doing wood working for a few years but still have so much to learn. I wanted to learn more about joinery so I decided to take a 4 week private class with Ken. He asked if I want to learn something specific and he taught me how to do mortise and tenon. He is amazing and such great craftsman! It's good to know that these classes are available for adults! I want to continue to go and learn as much of this trade as I can. Ken is very knowledgeable and is truly a great teacher!"
