"Avoid this Walgreens for filling prescriptions. They are constantly late in filling called in orders and have lost orders multiple times. There’s no follow up order status and called in orders have been filed incorrectly with Medicare Rx. I have also received incorrect pill count and have had to go back and try to correct the problem. Two past prescriptions were canceled because of incomplete doctor information. There was no follow-up with the doctor’s office and I wasn’t notified of the problem. The staff needs to be replaced with competent people or the pharmacy needs to be closed."

"Avoid this pharmacy at ALL costs, especially if you’re not supposed to go without your medication for any amount of time!! I’m not usually one to leave bad reviews at places… but this pharmacy is the worst in AZ. I have issues every. single. month trying to get my meds on time. I go days without my meds every time I refill them, even after trying the auto-fill feature as well (delays my prescriptions even more). It doesn’t matter how early you call it in! Once my dog went over 2 weeks without his meds as well due to Walgreens failing to contact his Vet even after being told multiple times that they would do so, and that there was no further action for me to take in the meantime. What’s worse is when you try to call, you’re on hold for HOURS, no matter what day and time you call. The only way to speak to somebody is to physically drive there and wait in line to talk to someone, which as you can imagine is hard to do when working a full time job during the week. The last straw is that they suddenly changed their hours and are no longer open on weekends at all (which is normally completely understandable, but not when your prescriptions are consistently delayed during the week and you can’t get a hold of anyone through phone). I’ve also tried to have them shipped to my house but that only causes more issues and delays further. Very disappointing as I have only ever used various Walgreens pharmacies in the past and have never run into these problems before. Avoid this place if you can, I just transferred to a different pharmacy myself!!!"

"This is the WORST Walgreens pharmacy in the state of AZ. I switched all my prescriptions to Safeway a couple of months ago and I'm so glad I did. (I'll leave a review for them next) ---- Back to WALGREENS 4875 E Elliot. There is a male Asian Pharmacist that has been here for quite awhile. (I only say this because I didn't get his name) Months ago I expressed my frustration with how long it takes for them to fill a prescription and he basically told me "Well, we're backed up and short staffed" …. Ok 6 months later you have 8 people working behind the counter and you still take 2 days to fill a prescription? The only reason I had this prescription called in here yesterday is because I needed the convenience of a drive through with my baby. My Doctor called it in yesterday WITH INSTRUCTIONS on pick up... First issue was that I called yesterday to check on it and was placed on hold, phone picked up then automatically placed on hold again 3 more times before the phone was just disconnected. This is the standard here and has happened in the past. Today I call as soon as they open and I'm told my prescription would be ready in the afternoon. I kindly asked if they could have it ready around 11 since it had been sitting there for over 18 hours and I was told yes. At 11:30 I called and was told that it was ready. I pack my 5 month old in the car and drive down to the pharmacy on my lunch break and am told by the pharmacist (the same Asian man as before) "Im waiting on Dr approval". I said, "I knew this was going to happen and my Dr told me she was going to notate the pickup in the prescription", before I could even finish he looked at me wide eyed and said, "WELL SHE DIDNT" … seriously? Not only do you have the worst wait time in town but now you've topped it with the worst customer service. I will never have any of my prescriptions called in here again. The whole pharmacy experience here has now ensured I'll never shop at this Walgreens again also. Its ridiculous. Having the convenience of a drive through is no longer worth the stress and disrespect to me. If you want your prescriptions filled fast and with respect and great customer service then go to Safeway at 4747 E. Elliot."

"Honestly, I would recommend finding another pharmacy near by, unless you don’t mind waiting 5 days for your refills almost every time. By far The most unprofessional pharmacy that I have ever experienced. I’ve been getting medications my whole life and have never experienced the lack of communication when it comes to peoples mental health. I had a medication called in on Feb 4th. (They are open Friday and Saturday) called Monday the 7th and the lady on the phone sounded overwhelmed. So my husband and I were like cool, we can give them some grace and understanding. Come Tuesday, no notification that the meds are ready. So come Wednesday the 9th I walk into the pharmacy because it’s quite impossible to get someone on the phone. Again, have no problem showing grace with the times we are in. The lady then proceeds to tell me they are out of stock on the medication. Like what the actual?!?!… this is peoples medication and mental health your messing with. My husband has now been without his meds for 5 days. Also, a cherry on top. The lady in front of me was going through the same issue and there’s some people who can’t go a day without their medications. Very disappointed that they didn’t have the decency to at least communicate that they were out of stock on Monday so that I could have my doctor call it in somewhere else."
