Rattlin' D Playhouse

"Our daughter came home from college on a surprise visit and we had not purchased a ticket for her. We called the day of and even though they were sold out, they managed to let her come and so we purchased another ticket. That made our night extra special. The dinner was fantastic! I have managed several fine dining restaurants in Southern Utah and their Prime Rib was the best I have ever had! Seriously, I am not kidding. Fantastic! All three dinners were awesome! I would pay that again WITHOUT the show, they were so good! The show was just a bonus! Speaking of the show, they had my wife and daughter laughing so hard my wife began to cry! They were about to fall out of their chairs laughing! In short, best dinner, show, and evening we have had in years! Go see it!"

"Absolutely delightful! Everything felt magical. A wonderful date night! The food portions are large, so no one should leave hungry. During intermission there is an option to buy snacks (popcorn, Muddy floats, drinks, candy etc.) Drew and his crew were hilarious! The singing was beautiful. I would 100% recommend!"

"This season was my third time there. The last meals have been better, but it was still ok. They have amazing desserts for extra during intermission. The combination of a show and dinner is really fun. The location is easy to get to and the play is unique. It’s fun for a group activity."

"We love Rattlin' D Playhouse! First off they seat you according to when you purchase your tickets, the earlier you purchase the closer you are to the stage. Buy tickets together with your group and they will keep your group sitting together. They have options for dinner: prime rib, chicken, and I think they added ravioli or something. All of the portions are HUGE, and it's delicious. It comes with a baked potato, rolls and carrots on the side. I love the chicken, it's breaded with a white chicken gravy sauce and it's so good. Everyone is always happy with the food. There's a little salad too and usually some kind of treat. Also - I didn't get the food when it was being served, so the pictures really don't do the good justice, it's much better in person of course! Also, if you are late they will box your break up for you, add they clean the kitchen up before the show. The show always has a small cast and they are always extremely talented and hilarious. The owner writes the shows, usually a spoof on a well known classic movie or play with references to all kinds of trendy things, some old some new. They are always musicals, always good singers (they don't always sing well necessarily, but that depends on the show and character). There's lots of random adlib and some improv throughout. He always starts out the show recognizing the Veterans which I love and appreciate. There is usually a ton of roasting, either roasting the crowd or just poking fun at the locals and how people act depending on where they are from. All in all, we laugh so much everytime we go, the food has always been great, every show is sold out (that we've been to), the talent is amazing and it's just a wonderful night full of laughter. Buy tickets ahead of time for sure, they are hilarious and they always sell out. They do plays November to December (or maybe just Defender?) for Christmas, and then they do a Valentine's show in and around February. We've been to 5 or 6 shows now and we've enjoyed all of them."
