"We thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. We will return next time we are in the area! It came out so quickly and everything was hot and tasty! They have a 50s diner feel mixed with food based on (some of) the 50 states! Very cool, my son got a hot dog and it had to be the biggest one I've ever seen, it was really good and the bun was also delicious! We also got the Fish and Chips, which had some of the best coleslaw we've ever had (it had apples or something in it and man did it hit the spot)! We grabbed desserts to go as we were quite full from the ample portions. The Apple Pie was absolutely wonderful, we warmed ours up in the oven with a side of vanilla ice cream and it fed 3 of us! So stinking good! They certainly have their system down with how quickly we got our food. Also, loved the little dinner car, it was windy and cold when we were there but there is outdoor seating as well, all around great experience!"

"Fun little touristy looking restaurant on the side of the road. The food was good. Prices are reasonable for the area. Parking is mostly on the street. You order on the outside of the building but they have seating on the inside and the outside. If you are in the area and not sure where to go this is a great pick. Get the Cuban with pastrami they call it the Tampa. Update: Salami not pastrami."

"Cross Country Diner is a unique and quaint little treasure in the heart of downtown Hurricane. The restaurant has a food truck-feel that is a series of trailers coupled together to create a quaint and welcoming setting. Ample indoor and outdoor seating is available. But the real gem in all of this is the unique and tasty food, served up fresh and quick by friendly owners. I ordered the Three Little Pig sandwich($10) which was piled high with pulled pork, shaved ham, bacon and coleslaw, served on an artisan-style bun with a healthy serving of fries on the side. Did I just use healthy in that sentence? The sandwich did not disappoint, but the delicious coleslaw reigned supreme. Sooo good! I will soon be back to try other tasty items from their varied menu."
