"I lived here for 4 years with my brother without ever missing a payment. I decided to move out this year, but my brother was planning to stay along with bringing in his new wife and our mother. However, after filling out applications, our mother was diagnosed with cancer. With crazy medical bills on the horizon, we all decided it would be best to leave since these apartments are super expensive. We contacted the office as soon as we found out, which was a little over a month before a new lease agreement would begin. We could not give 60-day notice due to these extenuating circumstances, but the management refused to make an exception and charged us an increased rate for the extra month. They have no compassion or understanding of extenuating circustances and do not do right by their long-time tenants. Do not waste your time or money here or anywhere else managed by Grey Star."
