"I don’t live here, but I do watch the news and I live in a an Independent living complex in Tempe. This is abhorrent that this corporation would evict everyone and give less than 60 days notice. Why do they have to move? Why can’t changes be “grandfathered” in? As the residents pass on they could fill them with younger families. This is not good for anyone. I hope the bad publicity gives this corporation some well deserved Karma and they go bankrupt . You don’t just throw old people in the street!! #greed #gentrification"
"I enjoy living at Casa Del Rio. The activities are enjoyable. No one is bored. The staff is efficient and friendly, especially Wanita, who is one of the housekeepers. She is able to put a smile on my face. Wanita doesn't mind doing the little extras."
"We are so happy here! We retired last year and moved here to be with our grandkids. After touring about a dozen places, we decided this was the place we wanted to live. It is very comfortable and the residents are all very friendly. At some of the bigger, fancier places the residents seemed aloof. Here, everyone was talking and laughing, or at least smiling. The food is good, basic cooking. I especially like all of the various games and activities they have here. Jeanne, the activities director makes sure there is always something happening and something for everyone. The rest of the staff are all so friendly and dedicated to doing their best for the residents. It feels like a community - not just apartments! And the price is right!"
"My parents (ages 87 & 89) have lived at Casa for almost 2 years, and I can say Julie, Executive Director, cares about the residents, her team, and it shows. The front desk, activities, housekeeping, and maintenance are caring and very helpful, always smiling. You can tell they take pride in their work. My sisters and I are very happy knowing my parents are in a community enjoying their later years with new friends, wonderful activities and are happy and safe."
