Harkins Theatres Scottsdale 101 14

"Giving this location a 1 star due to how me and my girlfriend were treated on one of the few times a good movie is in the theaters. We got our tickets online so that part was easy. The 1 star comes from the employees and manager behind the counter, we ordered a pretzel and were told that they were going to call out a number, so cool we waited about 10+ minutes (missing some of the movie) just to ask the manager what's going on with our pretzel and he goes to check on it and comes back to me to tell me that it's been done and he's going to go back and grab it for me? WHY DIDNT YOU BRING IT UP WITH YOU?? No employee cares to yell a number out, I get if you're shy but for it to be done and no one say anything and made use miss some of the movie. THEN.. We get to our seats to watch ( Kung Fu Panda 4 WAS AMAZING BTW ) just to have people next to us recording the movie and the employee did nothing, there was a STRONG SCENT of liquor and no employee did anything. Overall, staying away from Harkins and staying at AMC dine ins.. I still have 4 gold pass left that I will be giving to people I see on the streets"

"Walked in to order some chicken tenders and grabbed the bag of popcorn. best and friendly service at the guest services area. The chicken was cooked to perfection! Hot and crispy! Can’t go wrong with this place."

"Was here for a work holiday gathering. Really disappointed in some of the staff. I'm part of the management team and arrived early to help set up. The young man collecting tickets had no idea what i meant when i said i was there for a holiday party but why should he? He's only the person EVERYBODY has to pass to get the the theater. So i go to the counter where the suits are, gave the company name, and was flatly told by a heavy set older white woman, "I don't know what you're talking about. We don't have that group here" and she went in with her business. There was a younger suit there who was more pleasant and really tried to help. My boss finally arrived and we were allowed in to set up. Get to the theater and some Ushers are bringing in tank tables. Took three to bring in two and i still had to set them up, but you mention I've seen heads of cabbage with more hospitality. I live in the West Valley and try to never go to Scottsdale because of this type of reception. Since you really can't mess up a movie or blame the theater for one you don't enjoy it's up to the staff to create a pleasant experience. This definitely wasn't one."

"The Cine Capri does not disappoint! Amazing sound and screen quality. Very comfortable reclining leather seats. The food prices are a bit on the high side."

"OMG!!! LOVED the screen size, and the sound system for the Cine Capri!!!!!! It REALLY brought the movie to life! The only draw back was the seats recline all the way, but the head rests don't come up. So, in order to see the screen you really can't recline back all the way, but a small price to pay for the quality. We will TOTALLY be coming back!!!!"
