"So I didn't really stay here. I just rented a cabana for the day and it was awesome. Walking around the property made me want to stay there the next time. It is a full fledged resort. There were multiple pools, lazy river, water slides!, and other non water related activities to engage in. There's also an arcade for the kids (or adults), classic. It also looked like a cool place to have a company retreat or trade show."

"Marriott hotels are consistent in the beautiful landscaping, gorgeous views, comfortable and spacious rooms, and great service. I stayed here for a conference and found it to be a wonderful place to stay. I would definitely recommend it! It also had great pools that were lots of fun!"

"The layout and organization of this facility is quite unimpressive. 1. Some pool areas and lounge chairs, while unused, were off limits to “commoners” like myself. 2. Lots of up-charging for things that one would think should be included in resort fee. Basically the spa area was off-limits. 3. The only way into the pool area from our room was through the front lobby. We could use the hot-tubs but weren’t allowed to use the surrounding lounge chairs. Room upgrade to include ground-level fire pit overlooked dog-walking lawn with no real landscaping or view. This is in contrast to many other Marriott properties where upgrades include much better views as opposed to worse views. Designated walking trails go on sidewalks of a busy (noisy) highway as opposed to grounds. Impossible to walk resort grounds without going in and out of hotel wings that often had locked gates. Recommend integrating walking trail into golf course design as is done elsewhere. Breakfast buffet was awesome (one of the best I’ve experienced) and the associated staff were excellent. "Stayed at this hotel for a conference. Rooms were clean but multiple light bulbs were not working during my stay. Also it was very loud in the rooms when other people opened their balconies...it shook the whole room that I was in. Staff was very nice the entire stay. Best part of the stay Food during the conference was served cold. Not a great experience. Best part was they had Starbucks coffee. The reason for the 2 star review is the golf course and the "resort fee". They charge you a 60+ dollar per day fee and give you "free" daily amenities. One of which is a session at the driving range. I went to the golf center in the afternoon on a cloudy, chilly day in the middle of the week. I was not allowed to use the driving range because I was wearing denim. There were quite literally 2 people using the driving range at the time. Meanwhile people are golfing with shorts and sweaters. I understand a dress code if you are on the golf course but this is a "free" amenity of the resort and they have no regard if you are a Marriott member or not. I also understand if it is peak season but there was nobody there. Honestly this place is nothing special."
