"I had a terrible experience at jk boots. I didn't get fitted well. The manager who told me he was the owner was pulling out to lunch when I walked up. Had me fit in a boot I was not purchasing. When I received the boots I had deal breaking rubbing, I'm assuming due to the toe stiffer. If a customer is having fitment issues I would expect jk to advise that I would have a smaller toe box if a toe stiffer is installed. I couldn't have been more excited to get these boots, then I couldn't be more let down. I returned the boots after this 5 month process. I expect more when buying $800 boots."
"So glad I made the flight out to the closest store to get a proper fitting. Ordered a custom pair for stagehand work in all black bison rough out but these happened to be on display and a pretty decent fit. The level of skill for the fitting in unparalleled. It was definitely worth it to get to come in and play with the stuff on hand. I've already been stopped a few things just since walking out of the store and around town. The break in on this cowhide is basically non existent I can't imagine how comfortable the bison is going to be."
"Went in to get fitted and ordered a custom pair of bison climbers a few months back; incredibly friendly service and took the time to answer my questions and ensure I got what I needed. Boots came in last week and they are beautiful and definitely the most well constructed pair of boots I have ever owned. The arch was a little aggressive for the first few days but they're starting to break in and I can't wait to see how much more comfortable they'll become over the next few months of wear. Happy I now have the nicest pair of boots on my work crew."
