"first time buying my lumber from galaxy. i was very impressed with their pricing, organization and customer service. all lumber was stacked, labeled with sizing, species, and price. after letting the office know what i needed, they loaded all the sheet goods and hardwoods into my truck. it was the quickest lumber run ive had in years. myrna was very nice, and answered all of my questions regarding hardware and suppliers. looking forward to working with galaxy in the future."

"Got 3 boxes of handles to start. Need whole house full. Opened a couple. Noticed deep scratches. Opened a couple from another box same. Didn't open the rest. Took back, manager argued that we could of scratched them and tried to get over so she opened one from her stock and it had a deep scrarch.. She said they came from China you can exchange or get store credit. When we got them i specically asked the girl who sold them said we can return if anything is wrong. Why do I want store credit for subpar handles and there is nothing else in store we can use. So just threw money away. Suggest not using this place. We will spread the word to the contractors we deal with"

"WTH, IN and out like greased lightning. Got my Birch for my home renovation project at a low price compared to the big box stores, , looks pretty good , but I'll be cutting it up later, I guess the quality depends on the manufacturers , not the supplier, but I'll know later about that as well. I like being able to check out by feeling and looking without a ton of engine noise from forklifts rolling around. Maybe that was just my timing. , I also didn't have to stand around waiting for a guy to ask me if I needed help. The guys loaded my truck swiftly. I got white 3/4" Birch instead of my typical Baltic Birch 1/2" because the price was low enough. I can tell from the sides of the plywood that it's typical grade A stuff, so,,, I'm happy. I don't usually write reviews anymore."

"Staff is very friendly and helpful. Prices were better than Petermans by about $10 per sheet. Selection is decent and they loaded it all up for me. It's mostly sheet goods, not much lumber unless I missed it, but will definitely be back."
