"Today I ordered three items for pickup. Lowe's website claimed all items were in stock and would be ready for pickup within 3 hours. I made the purchase and they charged my card for it, but when I arrived I was told two of the items were "out of stock." The one item that was in stock was scratched and seemed bent. The problem with ordering from Lowe's online is they waste your time expecting products that they don't have, charge you for products they don't have, and then when they do have it, give you the scratched a dented stuff to unload it. If you must shop at this Lowe's, which I would highly recommend against, then protect yourself by picking out your own merchandise before paying for it. I don't plan to ever again purchase anything from Lowe's online that has to be picked up at this location."

"This is why Home Depot is winning. Ordered online, app showed me "Ready for Pickup", but no confirmation email with a scan code... Friendly associate told me they were ready, but there was no way of getting the items from the Pickup Locker without a scan code, and that nobody in the store could retrieve it until the next day. Not an option for me this time. Fix your IT Dept. I'll be at Home Depot."

"Sad situation. Lowes is one of the best alternatives but when bad management has their hands involved, it can ruin the shopping experience. I stopped in to purchase four, 5 gallon gas cans. These are the new stackable kind and they are not cheap. This location had about six cans available but three were missing the filler caps. The cans were also extremely filthy with dirt and bird droppings. An associate took one of the worst looking gas cans to the manager to see if they could offer some kind of discount just to rid themselves of this inventory. The manager inspected the can and said it looked fine and refused to offer any adjustments. When the associate returned to explain, I pointed out that the can not only looked used, it was one without a label and missing the cap. I decided to leave empty handed and spent $200 at Ace. Not a good day at Lowes."

"I am in the process of replacing the fascia board on my home, and was planning to buy the lumber elsewhere because Lowe's does not keep it in stock or show it on their website. Even though I was a contractor myself, I tend to avoid the 'pro desk' at home stores because the staff is often dismissive or talk down to DIY'ers. Glad I didn't avoid it this time, Valerie was very helpful, sourced the materials I need, and shared a quote on various sizes with me. She could not have been more friendly or helpful, despite this being (I assume) a pretty small order. Once I finalize the dimensions I need, I will definitely be back to place the order...thanks, Valerie!"

"I've been to a few different Lowe's & their basically the same & this is a good thing. The staff at the Lowe's I've visited have always been friendly & helpful. I have asked an employee in the outdoor section of the store for directions & been asked what I was in need of. This young lady was kind enough to look up the item check the number in stock & request that another employee meet me to help me get my purchase off of an upper stock shelf ."
