"We understand that they are going to jack up the prices but what happened to my husband is not okay. He goes in to buy a Hunter X Core irrigation timer, as he looking at them the white employee tells another white man that the controller is $128 and some change. So when my husband who’s brown takes the same controller up to the desk, the white employee tells him $168.43 total. My husband thinking there must be something different about the one he bought, comes to the car and explains it all to me. On the receipt it says $154.43 before tax. We decide to call another Ewing location in Peoria to ask the price of the same Hunter X Core timer…. Funny because the employee says that they run $128 before tax. Won’t shop here again. Maybe if I being white would have got off the car with my brown husband, we would have got it for the $128."

"Great selection and great service. I was greeted as I came to the door and the guys were happy to help me find what I needed. It’s not a big place and a little off the beaten path, but for the size of the store it does pack a big punch. Was happy to see a good selection of STIHL products, one of my favorite brands. Glad to have them local and definitely a good alternative to the big box home improvement stores."
