"Horrible experience here. First I was looking for a specific stylist and when I showed up and it wasn’t the right one, the lady there pressured me to get a cut with her instead. I should have listened to my gut feeling, my experience here was horrible. Apart from being pressured into a cut, my hair is now uneven. She was so rough constantly yanking on my head. She was constantly just yanking the brush through the knots, tearing my hair out ( I had very long hair) instead of combing it out. She was also just making what seemed to be careless cuts throughout my hair not even making sure my hair was completely wet and even before she cut. When she charged me, instead of disclosing that the hair cut would be a little more since my hair was so long, (completely understandable)she went ahead and charged me for another service instead to reach the total she thought was “fair”. I believe her name was Ann. I will not be going here again and recommend you don’t go here either."
"I and my mother in law booked the appointment at this salon together. Somehow they wanted to cancel only my appointment because according to Shelly, she was not feeling well. I totally understand it so I called back to them to reschedule it. She straights tells me if I wanted to get the appointment next week or Saturday. By the way I booked on Tuesday and supposed to receive the service on Wednesday. When I ask Shelby what is her next availability she mentioned 5 pm today. My problem if there was availability before 5 pm, why was not it offered at first. And how come I was the only one who was denied the service. I would not blame somebody for discrimination because of my name and race as I have never met the person. But at the same time I can not help to understand why only my appointment was cancelled when my mom in law who is white with American name had no problem. I feel that she did not want to cut my hair so that’s the reason she continued to delay my appointment. I am disappointed as I was really looking forward to enjoy the haircut with my mom in law."
