"My entire experience at this location was less than ideal. I used to live in Utah, and regularly serviced my mazda at a local mazda dealership. Always good experiences at Orem Mazda. When I called in, the woman in the service department told me she could schedule an oil change but couldn’t tell how much it would cost for my car. What? If I give you the make and model of my car, how do you not know? She forwarded my call to another person who wasn’t there so I had to leave a message. Then I got a confirmation text for the wrong day. When I called back about the wrong day, they were closed. Called back another day to get the correct date and was told the price. Lady told me on the phone they would try to finish my car by the end of the day, but they might have to keep it overnight. For a 3 pm oil change? I went on the day I was scheduled, the service center is this weird flat little kiosk place. Guy told me it would be cheaper than the lady on the phone, which was cool, but turned out to be false. They told me it would take a little over an hour. Partway through the vehicle inspection, I got the little video walkthrough with the recommended services. I regularly service my mazda every 6000 miles, and have not had any serious maintenance recommended besides air filters and tires (to be expected). This location quoted me 3000$ in recommended maintenance. I was legitimately shocked. This had never been mentioned by my previous service center. I declined all of the maintenance. As I was paying for the oil change, the price turned out to be similar to what the lady quoted me on the phone. So I’m not sure why the service guy said it was cheaper. When I asked about the 3,000$ of recommended maintenance, he said most of that was automated, and not really needed. What the hell? So you quoted me 3000$ of maintenance that was optional, even though the little pdf said “urgent action needed”? Very dishonest. I received survey texts and emails and I left feedback about my poor experience, and no one followed up. So here I am, leaving this review, to hopefully prevent other people from being scammed into needless maintenance."
