"My encounter with the shop was a bit different from your typical walk-in customers. I am a mechanic myself. Ive got about 15 years shop experience and over 20 years hands on. The shop itself isnt bad. Its placement is a little awkward as its behind, around, and near a couple other shops. My neighbor had took one of their vehicles to this shop for some work weeks prior and the work was never completed. My neighbor ended up having the vehicle towed back home so i could do the work needed. When the vehicle arrived it was missing parts that i soon found out were still at quality clutch. When i got to the shop the guys were friendly. They even helped me load the parts in my truck. The one issue i encountered was a comment was made about how the vehicle they failed to finish. The comment was " that thing is a rust bucket, and i dont have time for it " my problem is . its been here for almost 2 months, if this guy decided he didnt want to do it. Why was it here so long? The vehicle was half tooken apart. Why would he get that far into it before deciding he doesnt want to do it? I now have a vehicle thats half torn apart that i have no knowledge of what all has been taken off, and where those parts might be. I also have a box of nuts, bolts, and brackets. Again, that i did not remove. During my time in shops, ive seen plenty of cars get picked up that were half torn apart. All of those times were due to the customer not having the money or want to fix their vehicle. This is the first time ive seen a vehicle leave torn apart where the customer had the money for the work, the shop refused to finish the work half way through the job."
