Taco Giro Restaurant Mexican & Seafood

"We have been going to Taco Giro often as there are not many Mexican food choices in the area. Historically, the service has always been terrible! I mean, not refilling drinks, taking forever, we’ve watched on multiple occasions one girl doing ALL the work and others just sitting around doing absolutely nothing. Even on takeout orders, they’ve always managed to be as rude as ever over the phone and even more rude when I pick up. It’s gotten to the point where I’ll have my husband call to place the take out order, because he speaks Spanish, and then I’ll go in to pick up. They’ll be nice to him on the phone and rude to me in person. We will periodically try them again and it never changes, always rude. Today I called and Amanda answered. She was IMMEDIATELY pleasant to speak with. She was kind while taking my order and was even nicer when I picked up my order. Kayla was my cashier when I picked up my order and was also very kind and sweet! I hope Amanda and Kayla stick around so that we can’t start enjoying our experience at Taco Giro. Thank you Amanda and Kayla for the wonderful service. (The only reason I gave two starts was based off of previous experiences and this one combined. If this would’ve been based off of just today’s experience, I would’ve given five stars!)"

"Last minute drop into this Taco Giro restaurant.. Quite the surprise when you open up the menu, thought it was just going to be a taco place but they have everything including an extensive seafood menu and drink selection.. We had a large group and they were able to get all 10’of us at one table.. chips and salsa were brought out right away. They have great salsa with flavor and a little spice to it..Most of us had the tacos which were really yummy and everyone was raving about the beans. One couple tried the fajitas and they were amazing. We will look forward to going back and trying some of the items on the seafood section… The restaurant offers inside dining, bar seating and a patio.."

"The last time I went to Taco Giro was about 3 years ago in Sierra Vista. I don't remember the menu being that big...wow! Taco Giro is pretty good. It's chain Mexican food but our Taco Giro in Vail is welcoming, small, and has a good atmosphere. The Cadillac margaritas are pretty good, too bad I had drunk half of it before the picture. Bad picture! Free chips and salsa and a chip bean dip. We had enchiladas de camerone and shrimp tacos. Support local restaurants."

"Just opened, we decided to try it. Good portions, food was decent, prices are getting up there (unless you do a special like lunch). Wait times were a bit long for my liking. Hopefully all issues that will get ironed out over time. They have a basic kid's menu the little man enjoyed. Just an FYI they currently don't have alcohol, but will once licensed. I'll try it again sometime down the road and modify this review as necessary."
