"I can't even explain my hatred for this place. We have tried it 5 times in the 8 years we have lived here. 2 times we have asked out without being seated and the other 3 times the service is as horrible. Yesterday was our last visit. After being told 20 minutes we inquired about our table after 25 minutes the ladies were quick to offer for us to speak with a manger without us even asking. Not surprised this is a common occurrence with disgruntled guests. We passed in the manager and they told us to wait for p more minutes. After 50 minutes with excuse after excuse we walked out. Unless you have 2 hours to spare between finally getting a table and then being served, this is not the place for you."

"This is the first time in a long time I have been to Montgomery's. This time I opted for the Border Burger and their homemade chips. The burger was cooked to order and the chips were crispy. The wait staff was attentive and refilled our drinks on a regular basis. Overall the food was good with a decent portion. As with past ventures to Montgomery's, it awhile to get your food. So, prepare to soke in the atmosphere and good conversation with your family or friends."

"I used to be a huge fan of Montgomery’s but the last few times I’ve been the service has been terrible. I have been sitting with food and no silverware for over 10 min. The server who is also the manager has walked by several times and not even given us a second look. I would understand if they were busy but there are only 5 tables in the restaurant that are seated at the moment"

"Food was actually pretty good! Service was kind, I appreciate that, however it was so slow, unacceptable. Plenty of other patrons were being served. We felt ignored. Took 47 minutes to get out soup and salad. Other tables with a different server received food quicker. Had to beg to order another drink, etc. Totally frustrating. Waaay too long for ANYTHING."

"After a motorcycle ride up Mt Lemmon had to stop at Montgomery's for lunch. This is a great grill and bar in Vail and worth the drive if you don't live near. I had the Pastrami which I was sceptical when ordering as a good pastrami sandwich is not easy to find. They hit it out of the park. Thin sliced and grilled perfectly on a nice roll. I would definitely recommend Montgomery's!!"
