"First time getting carry-out from Charquitas Mexican Food. WOW, what good food! Prepared perfectly and quickly so we could get on our way. The helpings were so generous we had leftovers for dinner tonight. WIN! Only a very short jump off the main road and definately worth it!"
"They are SO rude here! They are also inconsistent with prices. The menu might say $12, but then they tell you $14. But your bank statement says $17. If you bring it up, all they say is, “card price and cash price are different” but it doesn’t matter how you pay. The prices never match advertised menu prices. They are different, even if you order the same thing, and pay the same way. They just randomly charge you, whatever they feel in the moment. And again, if you pay with card, and they tell you $14, and your receipt says $14. Your bank statement will say $17. They refuse to accept accountability, and treat you like you’re being a Karen, just cause you ask why prices are not consistent."
"I bought their 5 taco special a couple of months ago, and it was excellent. I went back about a month ago. I gave the young man checking me out tried to short change me. Could have been an honest mistake What disturbed me the most was that the taco meat appeared to contain some kind of filler. It was obvious something was off based on the taste and texture I'll be going elsewhere"
"First time visit so we didn’t know the menu very well. More exploration would yield better results. That said, we had a breakfast burrito of epic size but a little dry (more queso?) and under seasoned. The chili relleno apparently done on a griddle instead of frying. Rice and beans side ok but not exceptional. I think burritos and tacos would be pretty good here. And the fish burrito looks very interesting. No inside seating and a chill wind blowing on our visit so we ate in the car."
