"Absolutely blown away! I saw the high ratings and was unsure still (you just never know with Mexican food), but boy was I impressed! There's lots of food on the menu, but here's a few standouts that I highly recommend!! Carnitas!! So, so good. Some of the best I've ever had. Crispy, but not overcooked. Still soft in the center of the chunks of Carnitas. The mini tacos were great! Birria Taco! It is expensive but the taco is double tortillas and was almost too full with meat and cheese! The cheese was the star of the show on this! The consume was okay, but really the taco was so amazing. Get this and dip in their white salsa and some of their purple onion, mango habanero salsa... And then a dash of their orange, smoky salsa!!! Yum!!!! Speaking of salsa - The salsa bar was on point! And it's not your typical salsas. They had the purple onion, mango habanero that was FIRE! Their own avacado ranch. A smokey orange medium salsa. A spicy thick red, pepper salsa. Their Tomatillo (not as good as I had hoped for since all their other ones were phenomenal). And then of course a couple hot ones that were good. There was also some pickled purple onions that were great. And they had an insanely spicy smoked chili oil salsa that was delicious! My top three were there purple onion, avacado ranch, and the orange mild salsa. All of them were homemade, fresh, and fully stocked. All of them were good but those three were the tastiest! The only thing about the salsa bar was that there weren't any limes or cilantro/white onions. There were lemons and the carrots/jalapeños, but no limes/cilantro/onions was unusual. There was an empty space so maybe they were refilling? Other than that though, probably the best salsa bar I've ever enjoyed! I tried their Durango taco, but wasn't a big fan. It was basically a giant pita/tortilla that had lettuce and a cut up tomato. Good but not a highlight of the food here. I will definitely be back and want to try more of their tacos/meat, their burritos, the nachos (looked so good), and their quesadillas! If the cheese on the Birria is the same as the quesadilla... A Carnitas quesadilla would be so amazing. I'll be back! So good! Also just a note, everything is made fresh to order so it's not a quick, to-go option. We probably waited about 20-25 minutes for some tacos, Birria, and a few other items. It's fresh and takes time. Don't compare it to other grab and go taco places. I believe you can order online and call ahead though if you are passing through town. Be sure to stock up on the salsa bar though if you do takeout!"

"Had some bomb burritos at Adelitas. Price was also right. Each burrito is $7-$9 and was very filling. The California burrito had LOTS of potatoes in it so if you aren’t super into potato chunks maybe don’t get that one. Veggie burrito was also good but next time I would add cheese to it."

"Ordered a chicken chimichanga and the chicken was difficult to eat because they had hardly been cut into strips - there were chumps of chicken and it made it difficult to enjoy. The churros and rolled tacos were decent and nothing too special. The rice and beans were the saving grace."

"Very good food, was happy it was real grilled/shredded chicken and not canned chicken like at some of the other Mexican restaurants in town. The homemade tortillas that come with the meal are great. There's a good variety at the salsa and toppings bar as well!"
