Plaza Hotel & Casino

"Bed was comfy and the room spacious. The staff was very welcoming throughout my 4 night stay. There was no coffee pot or microwave. but that isn't a deal breaker for me. I always ask for a room opposite the Fremont Street Experience as it can get very loud until 3am due to the Live bands and DJ's."

"We have stayed here many times, and normally have a great experience. However this last time, the staff was incredibly unhelpful. After we checked out and went to the parking garage, we found our car inexplicably had a dead battery. I have worked at a hotel in a major tourist town, and the maintenance staff always had a battery jump starter pack on hand for these kind of emergencies. So we went to the valet desk. They stared at us like we were from outer space and said they had no idea what to do and couldn't help us. Went to the security desk. They said 'Sorry I don't know what to tell you' ,and that was it. Went finally to the front registration desk, and the lady said she had no idea what to do and that maintenance could not help us. I find it hard to believe that someone with a dead car battery has never happened in the history of the Plaza hotel and casino parking garage. Very disappointed in their lack of helpfulness or empathy. Frustrating lack of customer service."

"My favorite hotel in the North Las Vegas area... the rooms are awesome. Very roomy... the restaurants and bars are so fun and they have Hawaiian Food!! The front desk check in and the non existence of a valet is not good... once you get into the hotel and get settled, the other staff members are amazing! Carousel Bar best meeting place!"

"Booked a room online and then called in to the Hotel to get even more help & a great deal. Thought it was good until we try to check in and suddenly we get nothing but flak from the registration desk. The room we booked we were told doesn't even exist. Then we were told they would fix it and give us an upgrade. But the upgraded room was smaller than the suite we booked and didn't have the amenities we had asked for like a King bed, walk in shower, and a maybe a view of the strip. The upgraded room had a walk in shower that a tall man would have trouble turning around in, it was so narrow. The room only had a queen sized bed and the view was of the tennis courts. The lady who was helping us was nothing but confrontational at every turn. Would not advise this location."

"Hadn't stayed here in many years. Recent reviews had me a bit concerned. North Tower room was very nice, updated. Yes, bathroom small, but adequate. Slots are tight and points not as generous as most places. Convenient location, room clean and comfortable. Not usually a downtown stayed, but had a nice trip. Easy access to the Deuce."
