"I have been going here for years for all my bicycle needs but the last time I was there was unfortunate. I was there to buy tubes and to see if they could look at my brakes. I didn’t have a front rotor so there was nothing to do there. The (rude) employee at the time turned an Allen wrench on the screw on my back brakes and got them working again yet charged my labor for both sides. $7 each…. I don’t think tightening a screw for less than 5 seconds warrants a labor charge. Safe to say I will never return and be taking my business elsewhere."
"We recently purchased a Chisel and Epic from George’s Cycles and we love our bikes, they just flat out fly down the trail or Greenbelt. I am sure there are other great bikes out there but having a great shop to service your bikes is the most important thing when shopping for a bike. Our family bikes have been in several times for adjustments and upgrades and their service department rocks. Today on a ride along the greenbelt our son was sucking wind because his brake was dragging. We stopped in their shop along the greenbelt and they had it fixed in 5 minutes flat and we were back out there enjoying the day and our son was back in front and hitting all the little jumps. This is the place to go and we will be back soon to purchase two new chisel experts xs for the kids Christmas gifts."
