"Living half mile from this store on State street and a homeowner should be a "customer". Today I purchased an item (see attached pic). When checking out with cash, I did not get a receipt or give my ACE phone number to locate me. When I returned to restock this item, the manager (Gra>>>) did not accept it because I did not have a receipt or a ACE phone number related to this transaction. Therefore, ACE refused to return my cash payment, less than 2 hours before, and the manager (Gra>>>) held to this position. Since I live a half mile away from this ACE store, there is a high chance that I will NEVER buy from this location again. D & B Supply, Capital Lumber, Home Depot and other stores are my choices moving forward. "Customer is right" is not in this B's ACE Hardware process. Craig Chaney Boise Idaho"
