"We downsized after forty years in our home to this apartment community, it's only been a month, but we're sure we made the right decision. The apartment is spacious, well kept, and extraordinarily quiet. We're still settling in and looking forward to a simpler life for us."

"We lived in Park Clayton for two years and had a good experience there. There are pros and cons of the apartment complex. Pros: 1. Management is terrific. Residents reported many packages stolen at the beginning of the pandemic. They promised to install a hub in the mail room. Before the installation of the hub, Korey and Mike helped residents to move packages into the secured business center and called residents to pickup (sometimes delivered to the unit). Mike, the maintenance personnel, works 24/7. So, he responds to maintenance requests quickly if you need maintenance. 2. Renovated units have new appliances. My favorites are the full-size in-unit washer and dryer, the new dishwasher, and the gas stove. 3. They are supportive and flexible to tenants' schedules. We smoothly changed our unit during the lease and easily extended our lease for one and half months. (Some awful property companies in St. Louis charge you double rent if you only extend the lease for a short period.) 4. The later unit we lived in has wonderful views of trees and St. Louis. 5. The location is good. Basically close to everything, especially Forest Park! Cons: This is an old building, so noise is a problem. Noise is the primary reason we moved to a different unit. If you have an upper-floor neighbor who loves to walk around, you feel like you live with the neighbor. Also, one house next to the parking lot (not residents in the complex) occasionally partied overnight and played rap at midnight. I still highly recommend Park Clayton. You can live on the top floor if you are sensitive to noise."

"Perfect place if you like living in a construction zone. Before signing my lease the property manager explicitly promised me all construction was complete in the section of the building I was moving into. A year later, upon moving out, the construction was still not complete. Among other issues, the common areas/hallways were almost never clean and there was absolutely no noise barrier between newly renovated apartments."

"My experience was very unprofessional. I came from several hours away for an apartment viewing and had to take a day off work because they don't show on Saturdays. When I arrived, no one was there and my calls weren't answered. Twenty minutes after my appointment, an employee came through on another viewing and didn't acknowledge me. At that point I left so I could make a another appointment. When I called back a half hour later, still no response. They seem to have no issue wasting the time of prospective tenants."

"I started living at Park Clayton after new management took over and it has been amazing. The property manager Jeannie and the facilities manager Mike will bend over backwards for you to make sure everything is perfect and running properly. Along with great management, the property improvements are great as well. There's a new computer lab, a new game room and gym will be opening soon. I love it here and plan to stay a long time."
