Reviews
"This daycare is absolutely the worst. My grandson attended creative world and we received phone calls daily requesting we pick him up from school. I have an active 3 year old grandson and these people have no clue how to handle children. The only reason we switched to this daycare was because we moved to Belton. Our last daycare was awesome and I regret the switch. Paying $255 a week and you don’t know how to handle kids you’re in the wrong business. I feel cheated after paying this amount and my grandson was only allowed to attend maybe twice a week."
"My daughter attended Creative World for the last four months and we have had problems ever since she started. The children are often moved around to different classes that are most of the time not age appropriate. The teachers are constantly moving to accommodate the ratios of classrooms because there are not enough teachers. The most problems have occurred since the new teacher Lily Hobbs has taken over the gorillas classroom. There have been multiple incidents of children getting seriously hurt with no explanation. My daughter came home with scratches or marks several times with no incident report made. When I have observed my daughter with Lily as a teacher in the classroom, she is overly aggressive with the kids, constantly yelling at them. After speaking with the director about my concerns, I was told thank you for your feedback and nothing was done. My daughter continued to come home saying that Ms. Lily was mean and she no longer wanted to be in the class with her as the teacher. Other times she was coming home singing in appropriate music and telling me how Ms. Lily was shaking her butt to that song at recess. After speaking with the director Kim her solution was to put my kid in a under age classroom which is not acceptable and being told something would happen, I still have not heard anything further or been contacted since. My daughter has been pulled out for safety concerns!"
"On the positive side this daycare is clean and a safe place to leave your child if you have no other options. However, this daycare does not care about your child and if you have any issues they will not try to help you solve the problem. They will simply call you and give you one hour to pick up your child. Even if the behaviors they are displaying are developmentally normal behaviors. They do not answer the phone and are flat out rude when you try to talk to someone there. They indicated if my child needed individual attention this was not the place for them. I am not a childcare professional but I believe all children need some individual attention throughout the day. They care about making money bottom line, not about the kids. Seeing it from the outside things seemed fine, but once I got my child in a different environment I realized how much this place was holding them back."
"My kids attended this school for about a month and every week it was problem after problem. I just pulled them from the school and switched providers. - the first day they were confused like they didn’t even know we were coming. Didn’t have anything ready for us. We had to remind them that it was my kid’s start day. - When they gave us our sign in codes, my sons name never appeared on the kiosk to sign him in it only showed my daughters name and they had told us every week that “corporate would have to fix it” and it was never fixed - The payment amount was different every week. One week it was $224 and the next it was $204. And when I asked for an explanation they said they didn’t know. Their answer was “it probably has something to do with the state” - One day we took our 4 year old daughter to school wearing a skirt and some short leggings underneath. When dad picked her up, she had just the skirt and her undies on. When he asked why this was, they said that the breaker teacher (teacher that gives main teacher a lunch break) had switched them for some reason and no one knew why, he asked if they could ask the teacher and they said they didn’t know who it was or where she was. I was told the next day that my daughter had taken off her pants and they didn’t find her pants for the next 1-2 weeks. - Then I asked to take me off the automatic payments bc they were going to be unenrolling and I had told them about 3 times and dad had told them once. I woke up the first Monday that they had officially stopped attending and received a charge from them and I called and asked why and she said it was my automatic payments. After I had said 2 weeks prior to cancel it. She said the director would call me when she came in. Never received a call. I had to call them and she basically told me she had to call corporate, and that it should have been written down on paper for it to be official which I responded to with “that’s not MY responsibility to make sure things are done properly. No one told me to sign anything or write anything down. They just smiled and said “ok!” The next day she called me back and said corporate had issues my refund but they can only send me a physical CHECK in the mail. Funny how quick they were to TAKE my money but not to give it back. - Along with other issues like me coming in and the kids are in different rooms, me picking up my son and he’s wearing ONLY boxers, not being updated enough on the procare app only seeing “checked in. Ate lunch. Checked out” There’s such poor communication at this school, the teachers never know what’s going on, payment issues, clothing issues, it’s just a mess. I strongly don’t recommend this location. My kids were attending the liberty location and it was great. This was a nightmare."
"When I started my son at this school it was great. He had a great teacher and staff seemed pretty equipped with everything even tho they seemed like they had a lot of kids than they should have. A few months ago there was a huge change- all teachers were fired and we were told his teacher who he had seemed to like was actually really mean to the students- something they never told us until after firing them. The last several months have been chaos. Not one single teacher in my sons class has stayed. I even witnessed one of them “try” to handle my 3 year old when he was upset bc I had to leave and she actually threw her arms into the air like a child. I was told it would be $25 a week out of pocket for my son through the state and once I started orientation I was told it went up to $65 which was odd…then they started taking $89 every week and never explained it until finally I asked why it was so high and they had no explanation for me and even raised it to $100 a week no explanation. If I had another choice I’d deeply consider moving but unfortunately I do not."
