"My son takes a LIFE-SAVING medicine , which unfortunately also is a controlled medication. Many pharmacies don’t keep his specific dose in stock until after it is requested to be filled. So naturally I call in ahead of him running out of his last pill. However I am often told it’s too soon to request it. However if. Call on the day of his last pill I’m often told we don’t have it in stock. I asked is this a pharmacy policy or an insurance policy here at Walgreens said it is their policy! Well time to find a different pharmacy then because that is unacceptable for a LIFE-Saving medication controlled or not. He has been on this medication for years, he is not abusing it and this particular pharmacy has filled it for him several times now. Only recently have I had this problem."
