INFINITY Laser Hair Removal

"Firstly, the laser was extremely painful from 1st treatment in Jan 2023- even with approved numbing cream. I could only manage 3 treatments then called it quits. Secondly, I had this reaction pictured to the laser. Pretty sure it’s a burn. Immediately after I looked in the mirror and was shocked. I showed my technician and she said it was a normal reaction and to just put antiseptic cream and hydrocortisone cream on it. It did go away the next morning but I still have permanent redness/scars (I'm getting married next year which they were aware of). I told the manager and she said it was a rare personal skin problem and it doesn’t happen to everyone but I’m just part of the 5% it can happen to. I have been getting waxed for years and never had any redness like this. Refunded me for the one treatment where I was burned but not the other two full face treatments and not other treatments on other body parts I was burned (totaling over $400). Thirdly, they shaved my face with a real razor instead of a dermaplane one stating it won’t make my hair thicker. It did as I knew it would because I have thick, dark European hair and I knew from a very young age not to shave anywhere you don’t want it growing back thicker. I have been going to an accredited medspa for 8 months now with little to no pain, NO REACTION, and great results. Showed my new laser tech the photos and my dermatologist and both said it was a burn. Safe to say I don’t think my skin was the problem."

"They saw me coming, I am an older African American female. She saw some gray strands. She stated the laser wouldn't pick up on the grays, so she referred me to electrolysis. I am now going for electrolysis. She was nice and friendly. She even looked up a few places for me to try. None of the numbers worked, but she tried. I am now going to SLU and I am working with Paige. She is wonderful too. I am sure Infinity would have been great, based on the reception I was given. I gave them a 4 based on the reception I received without services."

"My experience her was at 5 stars. but I have not been back to this business in many years. I stopped going because of the treatment I received over the phone from the then receptionist who may still be there. I had an appointment. I called and had to cancel because of a last minute business issue. It happens from time to time. I realize that they are appointment based and it is inconvenient for clients to cancel last minute. But sometimes professionals like myself cannot help it. Rather than being understanding I received some pretty negative commentary from the receptionist. So, I never went back. If that had not happened I would likely still be a client and they would have received 5 stars. Because for me the experiences I did have there over numerous appointments were excellent."

"Paid ahead of time for all sessions for body part as that was the policy… went 4 out of ? 6 -8 sessions …one session asked provider not to do face if shave required as very mild hair issue she did anyway which okay fine whatever got over it …but last session skin flare on leg was quite alarming as did not happen with other sessions …reported to whomever was working up front as provider treating another client… regardless never got call back …so upset never went back … took over 6 months for scarring to resolve"
