"This is such a cute spot! There's a lot of great options for the build your own bowl & it was tasty. The dining room was sparsely attended on a Saturday evening, which was kind of nice for us. We wish the people behind the counter were a little more enthusiastic & helpful, like to guide us down the line-- but we really enjoyed our respective creations!"

"My favorite poke spot in the kc metro, I have never had a bad meal here and i’ve been coming here for years. The ingredients are always fresh and they are the only place i’ve seen to offer spicy salmon. The offering of toppings is my favorite of any place i’ve tried and they are generous in putting them in your bowl. I always feel like I get my moneys worth here and you can’t always say that about poke places. I always build my own bowl but if you’re new to poke you could try one of the pre-decided bowls on the menu."

"I got Hawaiian sunset signature bowl with zucchini noodle. I like the combination of texture and taste: chewy veggie and soft protein, sour and sweet and hinted spicy. Given everything is fresh, a bit pricey is reasonable, I guess."

"The Rain on Fire bowl is delicious. I was initially concerned with the heat level given the *generous* amount of jalapeno and sriracha together, but the peppers were mostly seedless (thankfully). The other ingredients really cut the heat and balance the flavor. Great taste overall."
