"My husband and I called around to every garden nursery in the tri-county area (26 places!) looking for a common, but specific color hibiscus (Rose of Sharon). The lady here was EXTREMELY friendly, didn't rush us, and was VERY helpful over the phone (twice) and in person :-) I wish I could have bought more plants from her. I so appreciate YOU! We walked away with what we wanted at an EXCELLENT price!! $38.99 for a 3 gal. pot for a very healthy bush! We will definitely keep them in mind for our other gardening plant needs. Huge selection here and right around the corner from overpriced Godfrey's."
"Such a nice nursery. It is well worth the hour drive to go there! We are always a little money poorer when we leave, but plant richer when we get home! Great variety of plants to choose from, including varieties that we haven't seen elsewhere. Good strong plant stock that does well when we get it home, and transplanted. The staff are so knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. A nice compact facility with so much to see."
"Wavra Farms and Nursery is such a lovely place to shop for really cool, unusual and healthy plants. They specialize in bedding plants of all kinds and gorgeous hanging baskets and gifts containers, all expertly designed. Prices are more than reasonable. Another greenhouse has veggies, shade plants and more. You can find many unusual trees, shrubs and perennials in in the well designed display areas. I was quite impressed with the selections I hadn’t seen elsewhere for very sensible pricing. Staff are always kind and helpful every time I’ve visited. A special shout-out to Andrew for always going the extra mile to make a gardener happy. Love this magical place."
