"North Salem/Keizer Fred Meyer is well not that good. The whole building is in need of a remodel. The deli, from what looks like late 50’s, is the worst of the three local stores, despite the great and helpful employees. Tonight the good customer service also failed. Only two lanes were open, and one lane after the third customer waiting in line was close without a word to the rest of us in line. As a customer I had to read the sign ask the cashier ( mean time her lane light was on indicating an open lane) if she was closed and tell the other customers in line. Now only one lane was open with a long line forming behind it. No cashiers were called for a good ten minutes, after we went through self checkout lane after four other customers went through the self checkout lanes. Still Fred Meyer in North Salem has very good hardworking people that deserve better."
"My girlfriend and I have a card with a faulty magnetic strip. Normally we come to this store and it's not a problem. They'll type it into their system and everything's good to go. However, tonight, we were told by more than one employee that they are not provided anyway of manually putting our card number in. How is it one day we can do it, and the very next day, at the same store, all of a sudden they have no ability to inputcards manually? I think they were being lazy. Or lying to us."
"Employees are great. It’s the online ordering system. I clipped a digital coupon to use in your cart then I picked up my order the next day and coupon wasn’t applied. Customer service said that was last weeks coupon—so why did the app let me apply it to my order? If coupons expired overnight shouldn’t my order DATE be used for the coupon?"
"Everybody knows fred Meyer is way too pricey but you hope for good quality nope. I bought two different packs of cherry tomatoes. Both were extremely moldy. 10/31/23. Something like $5.00/ pack :("
"Good place to buy groceries and body care products. The parking lot is big. The electronics section doesn’t have the best selection. You can also get furniture, clothes medications and more here. Fred Meyer/Kroger seems to have a good selection on lower calorie and lower carb options for foods."
