So rare to find an affordable nontoxic independently-verified organic bed AND consistently #1 by Consumer Reports too. My kids' beds are still going strong, and we always get compliments the next morning from overnight guests. In fact, it prompted them to buy their own Avocado mattresses. So, I was thrilled that they opened a store in the Portland area. It really helps to actually feel the products and test them out. Colin was incredibly insightful. His knowledge of the products was impressive. He embodies the values of the Avocado brand - trust and integrity. They take the long view - no other company has such a strong warranty in this industry. We went in looking for a bed frame and mattress for ourselves as well as for our rental property. Collin and his staff were so helpful, answering all of our questions and encouraging us to try out each and every bed and pillow. I'm happy to say we found both mattresses AND pillows we loved. "We met Georgia at the Portland experience center and she walked us through the decision/purchase process. No phones ringing and bells chiming - we felt understood. We were dealing with a split king with Tempur-Ergo Extend bases along with extremely thick mattresses. (See image) We settled on the Malibu king and we're thrilled. Georgia kept in touch through the delivery process. The bed is solid and easy to assemble. The Avocado product represents quality for money."
