"When I took my Volvo to Peter's a second time they changed the oil to the tune of $174.00. The car takes synthetic oil which I understand is more expensive. But this price is considerably above what other places charge, including the dealer."

"Told me I needed a brake job but I couldn't afford the labor so went out and bought the parts myself. Took the pads off and still had 3-6 months good life on em. Shook it off as I've been a regular customer for a few years. Went back because my wipers weren't working. Paid $150 for the diagnostic to be told there was a recall on the wipers so I go to the dealer, they do the repairs, wipers still aren't working. Call Peter's who tell me I need to pay for another diagnostic. Ended up driving that winter without wipers (which sounds silly but as a single mum with no child support you make do with rainx when there's food to be bought and a roof to keep over your child's head) then finally was able to get into another mechanic. Turns out there was a wire left unplugged. Dunno if they were just trying to lose a customer or if this is common practice for getting repeat business but I would recommend getting second opinions on work being done there. Unfortunately, I also bought a car from them that only made it six months before breaking down which repairs were more than the value of the car (which I paid $5,000 for). We live and we learn, huh? UPDATE: Please remove my name from your review. If you noticed, I don't have it publicly listed and that's a reason. Also, if you noticed I put I RECENTLY found this information out. Which is why this review took so long. I drove the car I bought with the check engine light because I was in the middle of nowhere 45 minutes outside of Bend with my child and dog. I was lucky to make it to a rest area. And I did call the manufacturer, which I told you, because they kept redirecting me to the shop that initially did the diagnostic. How long does it take to do a diagnostic and find out there's a recall? Not much I'd imagine. The lack of responsibility on your part and the blaming of customers in your other review responses speaks volumes. I was once told AT YOUR SHOP that being a mechanic is hard because if you fix a machine to perfection, you lose business. I should have paid more attention rather than the thousands of dollars you've made off of my trust and ignorance over the last few years."

"This is like blackmail auto store, We went to them per dealer refer, and checking Coolant leakage, they said that we need change you $126 for checking with precure gauge, then figure out where is leak? I said ok to them to go ahead, few min later, they show me the leak pipe and told me that they need to replace pipe(around $70 plus $400 more labor, total around $510), they told me to pick the car by tomorrow; when I go back home, they called me and told me that they found another Coolant pipe leak as well, around $70 parts + 2-3 hr labor around $400, add the together, total charge around $1100, I just challenge them if this is the coolant pipe, they said yes, and why double labor charge? they said it's very complicated design, i keep challenge their process if they are going to fix the 1st coolant and put it back then teardown again to fix 2nd coolant pipe? why double labor? they are no reply; and later, they called me that they found 3rd coolant pipe leak, and need total another $800 including parts and labor, total will be add up $1800 for coolent pipe leakage. I just challenge them again, why you do this? they might be have some "mercy", and come back me if I want buy whole Coolant pipe$270 and they are going to use smaller pipe to replace with half hr labor, in this case, my 3rd time quote will be less than $800, I just want to understand if this is the right for this auto shop making money? I believe it's one time thing for me to them... don't go to their store, it's blackmail and not good..."

"Find this hidden gem and the professional, kind attitude of this team will take over problem solving your vehicle and allow you to relax in their clean welcoming waiting room. As an older woman with an older car, anxiety about new vehicular experiences can be unsettling. All resolved once this team begins their work. They check with you about charges before any work is done. I found them to be my new go to!"

"Worst customer service ever. If I could give them 0 stars I would. We took our Jeep into Peter’s Auto Works to get some work done. Earlier that day we taken the car to Auto Zone to have the codes checked and I had reiterated to Lisa what codes appeared. Lisa said they didn’t need the paper work from Auto Zone and would do their own check. They never ran the codes and installed more parts than then were needed. There was no communication to me on the installation of the additional parts outside of them calling to see if we wanted them to clear the code, which was an additional $45. They called to say the car was finished without verifying the work they did fixed the issue. Less than 1 mile down the road the check engine light came back on and it started missing again / riding rough. We called them to talk about the issue we were experiencing and they were very argumentative and belligerent. We are now out $1400 and we still have the same issue that we took it in for. Needless to say we will never be returning here or recommending Peter’s Auto Works to anyone due to their horrible customer service."
