"The team at Tigard Transmission went above and beyond my expectations. I called Ken explaining the problems on my Subaru's transmission, and he made time to bring it into his shop when I knew they are already busy. Through the repair process he also went the extra mile to explain how my valve body and shift solenoid was faulty with the necessary repairs. His technician did some quality work and got it back to me a day before I expected! Then Ken's son stayed open until I could get there that evening. Ken even followed up with me to make sure everything was running smoothly and wanted to have a look in 400 miles to keep everything in tip-top shape. I honestly forgot what it was like to get such great service, and if I have any other transmission issues I only trust Ken and his transmission shop!"

"As usual i pushed my car to its breaking point..... broke my axle on my subaru and when i say broke.... it was bad! I am a single female living paycheck to paycheck so a repair like this put me into full panic mode fast. I called the first mechanic that popped up and it was Tigard Transmisson. I called the number at 8pm (way after business hours) thinking i was going to have to leave a message but to my surprise the owner, Ken, answered! And when i say he was amazing i really mean it. The first thing he asked me is if i was ok and in a safe place and after i told him yes he them asked me a couple random non car questions wich calmed me down enough to explain what was going on with my car. He listened and even understood my descriptive "noises". He did not spend an hour "mansplaining" he was straight up with me and broke down the price and what and why would happen. Unlike most mechanic he did not act like i was unknowledgeable about cars because i was a woman. And the price he quoted was about 30% less than the other 3 quotes i later got. I had my car towed to his shop, he told me it could be up to 5 days before he could get to it because they were swamped but to my surprise he called me 2 days after it waz dropped off to tell me it was done! And not only that it ended up costing me $100 less than quoted. I cant put into words how happy i was with the whole experience. I am so grateful for Ken and everything he did for me and my family. I highly recommend and will be back if i ever need any repairs."
