"Every time I go to Lowe’s, it continues to get worse. Today around 450pm, I went to make a payment on Lowe’s Credit card. You can only do that in the pros area which I’m fine with. The First Gentlemen was on his phone texting and not doing anything. I asked for his help and he said no Mari has to do it. Mari isn’t at the pro cash register. She’s complaining to some coworker about her PTO request. Then when she walks over, she doesn’t greet me, barely acknowledges me, and stays on her personal phone trying to schedule her PTO while taking my CC payment. I hope it was done right. I’ve spent a small fortune at Lowe’s since 2020. She doesn’t even acknowledge or say have a good day. In todays world with self checkout and limited face to face interaction with customers, Lowe’s has to do a better job treating that position as a privilege and putting someone who wants to be there and help customers instead of being more interested in paid time off. And as I’m leaving the guys on forklift moving sand was cursing up a storm. Not a great look. I expect more."

"Why large and fragile items should not be shipped through commercial carriers. Bought a black porcelain Laporte one piece toilet online and saw they had free delivery through FedEx as the item wouldn't fit in my car for pickup at my local Lowe's Home Improvement store. FedEx dropped it off today and this was the end result. The tank is broken and the driver couldn't put it back on the truck since I already accepted delivery. Local delivery costs $79 but they take much better care of customers' merchandise since they are dealing with small volumes. Now I have to engage in a lengthy return process. These items should never be allowed to be shipped via commercial carriers since they deal with huge volumes of packages and they tend to get very careless treatment. I did get my refund but had to take the broken toilet out of the box in my driveway and fold up the packing material and put everything all back together in the parking lot at the Metairie store 20 miles from my residence. FedEx doesn't do consumer pickup. The box all assembled would not fit in my car."

"They don't use a broom to clean up sand in the loading area. They use a leaf blower. Every day. Not a shop vac. Not a broom. A gas powered leaf blower. You know that the management okayed this because someone gave him a leaf blower and keeps giving him gas for it. He's out there every day blowing sand and concrete dust into people's eyes and lungs, onto their vehicles. Someone give this man a broom. Stop wasting gas. Stop blowing sand into our eyes Update. And on top of this. Instead of fixing the situation. They added a canned response to my review. So they acknowledged the problem but want me to waste more time attempting to fix it for them. As if pointing out the guy with a leaf blower blowing sand around is not enough. They cannot be bothered to make a phone call to stop this daily activity. Update 9/23 They used a broom for a few months and still do. But they dude is STILL USING THE LEAF BLOWER WHEN NOBODY IS LOOKING. It's completely unacceptable to use a leaf blower to clean up sand and cement. Canned response from lowes below \/"

"Pros: Lowe’s does have good inventory and love the Halloween display. Cons: Pushing customers to self-checkout and customer service and return desk employees aren’t sufficiently trained on how to stay at their workstation and actually help customers. Printing a receipt seems to be something that takes three of them to try to figure out. A bit on the rude side too."
