Macy's

"Do NOT pay for expedited shipping or even depend on Macy's to deliver your items when expected. My husband's suit to walk his daughter down the isle will NOT be here until after the wedding and the "only thing that Macy's can do is refund the extra money I paid for shipping. Now we are out the money for one suit and have to try and come up with money to pay for another. I am beyond disgusted and hurt. Thanks for nothing but taking our money and not delivering."

"This store is really disappointing. There are no store maps to help you figure out where things are. The majority of the workers have an awful attitude, so I'd much rather reference a map. Additionally, when you do have to talk to people, very few know where things are or what the policy is. An hour before closing, it was impossible to find an open register. When I finally did, other people queued behind me. The cashier finished a transaction, then turned away from us and started hanging clothes on a rack. I presumed that she was hanging up a return, so it didn't wrinkle, but it became clear that she had no plans to return to the register. The lady behind me complained to her, and her response is that she's not working a register, she's cleaning the men's fitting room. She didn't know where the cashier went. It was kinda shocking behavior, because she was directing the other employees, as if she was their manager. Why didn't she call someone over when she knew people were waiting? Why didn't she bother to inform anyone in line that she was doing another task, and would only check out one customer? How does this store think they can charge designer prices but offer poorer service than the Goodwill?"

"I was a tad disappointed by the shipping materials. I do not need a box but they should be more mindful of the labels getting stuck or sticking directly onto the item. Luckily there was no sticky residue left on the purse because of how they put the label on."

"The sales were really good on Kids cloths and my wife found a few good items on sale as well. The store layout is good, up and down stairs sections. Overall not a bad experience, I just wish there were more rooms for trying on cloths."

"Coming to this Macy's you will always experience some type of shake down. They have forgotten that not everyone steals merchandise. I try to return a top that was purchased for me by my sister for my birthday. The top was too small and they did not have any additional sizes. She asked me numerous times if I had a receipt I told her I did not. It was given to me as a gift. After that she continue to ask me for a receipt or could I go to my sister and ask her for a receipt. I told her I did not want to go to my sister to ask for the receipt because it was a gift and I was just trying to get a different size or something else that would better suit me. However, that did not matter because she said there was a sticker that should have been put on the tag to show proof that it had been purchased either in the store or online. Then the manager called me four times only to ask me again. Did I have a receipt or could I ask my sister for a receipt , yes all of this is very true and unfortunate. And as I explained to the manager that I would no longer use my Macy's credit card and thanks to the horrible customer service. Neither will my sister. I feel like when you go into a store and sometimes the cashier can forget to remove a tag or place a sticker showing proof of purchase but now you have to check and make sure that they do their jobs because if you don't have a receipt you are screwed . They would rather lose a great customer and shopper over something that they probably did not do correctly and completely. When I go to other stores, you don't get this kind of treatment. They give you a merchandise credit of some sort. This was again another horrible Macy's experience at lakeside mall . They will not see me in there again far as I'm concerned I will continue to shop at Dillard, Marshall's and TJ Maxx and online at Amazon.!!!!!"
