"Location is great. Located on an island and overlooking Washington and Oregon is the greatest location. The hotel is a bit rundown. Should be from old age. Room is great, at the least one I stayed in had a separate living room and TV. Two TVs in a room can you imagine. And it’s just a twin room."

"I rarely write reviews but I feel I have to warn fellow travelers about this place. This is probably the worst hotel I have stayed at. I can't believe it actually has some good reviews. First, they charge an extra fee when you check in. The hotel is old and not well maintained. All the bed sheets were stained. I had to ask twice to get a blanket. Wifi is spotty. The worst part is I didn't have any hot water in my room for 4 days out of 5 (during a winter storm where it was 20 degrees). I asked the staff about this 3 times and they didn't seem to care at all. It also took 20 minutes to check out and they weren't able to print a receipt because their system was down. Very poor management. Stay away!"

"I'd love to leave this place a great review because the staff is great, especially Monique. The hot water is suspect, as is the water pressure, just trying to get a shower... The microwave is so small you can't even nuke a personal pizza... If I can't take a hot shower and eat a crummy pizza, why am I spending $130 for a night? Edit: needed to stay on the island again for work. Once again, Monique was the point of contact. She is really wonderful and very pleasant to deal with as long as you come with respect. Her and the staff went and beyond to help my current stay during the snowpacalpse be as comfortable as possible. Appreciate you guys, Monique makes this 5 star."

"This hotel is a great value in an ideal location for anyone interested in visiting the area. The rooms are clean and up-to-date. I was lucky enough to get a nice room on the waterfront side with beautiful views of downtown Vancouver ( just a short ride over the bridge). Plenty of shopping and restaurants in walking distance of the hotel gave me the opportunity to walk around and enjoy the fresh NW air."

"This is a diamond in the rough. Love the entire staff here at Jantzen Beach Roadway Inn. Front desk to the housekeeping team to security. All working together to make our stays here the best. It's wonderfully cared for, clean rooms, just amazing. If you want a good value and a team behind you, for all your needs, this team rocks. Love the Roadway Inn. Love the staff all of f the crew even the Maintenance man, he is also great and if you pay attention to his sporty car, he paints it a different color couple times s year, kinda neat to watch. Just nice place to just hang out a weekend in."
