"I have been to La Paloma loads of times and every trip is a delight. I've gotten countless sweet gifts for myself and others there, I got a tattoo at one of their amazing Lazy Sunday events. it's a safe, welcoming, communal place. as a visibly genderqueer person especially, it is very meaningful to me to find a space like this that feels safe. the owner is so incredibly rad and it is absolutely worth a visit! I love La Paloma!!"

"Paloma Tacoma is so lovingly curated that you can’t help it seeping into your soul — and feeling just a little better for it. Felt like a big Mexican/indigenous hug walking in. So many treasures from eco friendly home goods + plants to the imported textiles and art —every bit of which feels like you’re in a street corner of Guadalajara. Molly, one of the stewards is all of that spirit in a person. Super happy to know this local shop exists."

"I have visited many times and each time has been a unique experience. The shop is always a little different, with new, interesting things to buy, fantastic jewelry, gifts, incense, art, scents, candles, and many other goodies. I'm sporting two flash tattoos from their Lazy Sunday events, and I hope to get a few more. The owners do their best to create a space that welcomes all but also represents their own cultures, and is an affirming space. I also appreciate La Paloma's dedication to the Tacoma community, too. They do donation drives, and organize the community when a neighbor needs monetary support to keep their lights on. La Paloma is a must-go-to in Tacoma!"

"La Paloma is a thoughtfully curated shop that sells plants, art, supplies, treats, books… etc etc etc. You could spend hours looking at the ever revolving LOCAL goods, learning about the many artist’s work, and have a great chat with the owner or customers. The owner, Molly puts her heart and soul into the shop and it shows. She has created a safe space to show up exactly as you are. I 100% recommend checking out La Paloma and supporting local community!"

"La Paloma is always such a fun and eclectic vibe, with shelves ornamented with everything from local baked goods and flowers, to unique jewelry, art, pantry items, magic potions (oils, candles, aromas, herbs, CBD) home goods and books (lots of which are published locally!) Molly, the store owner is great at making every customer feel seen, and helping out other small local artists/businesses, creating a very open and safe community space. I have popped up at Lazy Sunday (a recurring weekly event) with my own art and vintage clothes/homegoods; but the pop up lineup is a bit different every week, including flash tattoos, massage, tarot readings, and a wide variety of artists/art forms. I was also lucky enough to join in on a poetry reading at La Paloma, partnered with Blue Cactus Press, and was so excited to be a part of a shared literary space after years of writing alone. Truly, I cannot say enough about the wonderful shop and community hub that Molly has made; other than that there is a little something for everyone, and if you haven't done so yet, go!!! (Especially this weekend 8/12 from 4-8 pm, because they will be having their Warehouse Sale and clearing out old goods for DEALS.)"
