"Lovely place for dinner - the setting is homey and cozy, the staff is friendly and it feels like an old B&B in the best way. The filet was perfectly cooked and the flaming bread pudding incredibly memorable. The grilled goat cheese felt like a miss, but the other dishes more than made up for it. Incredible wine selection as well!"

"My goodness, if you live in the area and haven’t enjoyed the tastes and the pleasures of this very special place, sham on you. If you are visiting Portland or the Hood River area and do not fit this place into your schedule, you should check your calendar because something went wrong with your schedule…The Grilled Goat Cheese and the sesame seed crusted Ahi Tuna was a taste bud’s dance of perfection across the tongue. The peppercorn filet was a very different twist on a good cut of beef. Spicy and flavorful. The finishing touch however, was the flaming bread pudding. My very favorite part of the evening however, was the service, quiet simply made you feel as if you were the only table in the place… also, please ensure that you try the house named special cocktail named for none other than Ms Shanna, herself, the Shannacolada. Absolutely cocktail perfection.."

"Not many places know how to cook salmon correctly. Stonehenge chef does! It was the best salmon I've had in a long time. My husband's steak was cooked perfectly also. We will be back! Yes, we will drive almost 250 miles for an annual dinner there. Be sure to try the roasted goat cheese appetizer. We can't wait to try their other appetizers and hopefully next time we will save room for dessert."
