Pietro's Pizza Hood River

"I don't frequent Hood River, but I highly recommend if you are stopping through on your way to some place else, atop here for a bite to eat. It's probably some of the better pizza I have had. What set it off for me was the crunch of the pizza crust itself. If you like thinner crust. Almost like a cracker, this is the pizza for you! Great place to take the kids as it also has a game room to keep them entertained! Great cider and beer selections, too!"

"It's always fun when your kids, who are now teenagers, are excited to visit Pietro's where they grew up playing and eating. On a smokey hazey day we popped in for dinner. In the back of restaurant there is an arcade. Believe me when I say busy moms need this break. Kids wander to the arcade games. The pizza has that easy coast New York pizza taste. So good. I particularly love the salad bar. The atmosphere is wide open seating for large or small groups. TV with sports and beer on tap. And of course wonderful service. I loved that the gal who served us shared her favorite pizza choices. Just look at these pictures. Cheesy delicious pizza. Enjoy!!"

"Save your time and money and don’t come here. We had a kid’s birthday party there today and it was a disaster. We ordered 2 pizzas as soon as we got there for our party, they brought one pizza out in a timely matter and then didn’t bring the 2nd one. Other people in our party and tables around us that had arrived after we ordered were getting their pizzas but our 2nd still hadn’t shown. Eventually they came and asked us if we got all our stuff and we said no, still missing a pizza. They said they’d bring it right out. We waited awhile and checked at the counter and they said they’re working on it. Waited another 15 mins and it still hadn’t showed up and when we asked again they told us they forgot about it and we’d have to wait another 20 mins for them to make it. When it finally did make it to our table (almost an hour after we got there and ordered), it was cut into completely inconsistent pieces, like they gave a toddler a pair of scissors and told them to cut the pizza. One of the “pieces” was maybe half an inch wide. Also, the game room was full of games that either weren’t functioning, stole your coins or didn’t give out tickets when you won. Staff was dismissive and gave an attitude like they didn’t care."
