"I would say I know just the basic stuff about garage door maintenance, simple lubrication and resetting of the opener from time to time. So when the garage door slammed down and wouldn't lift up I was clueless to what to do. Contacted Madison Top Door Repair Co. for professionals to fix the doors, and next day their technician went by to check the unit. He indicated the broken spring that caused the fall. Replacement parts included the spring, belt drive, and some rusted hardware.
