Dr. Linda K. Kollross, MD

"She is the worst. I was forced to “see” this woman for 4 years due to my insurance and her being the only possible psychiatrist available at Marshfield. She probably spent less than an hour with me in those 4 years combined. Every appointment lasted 5 minutes IF I was “lucky.” She’s extremely abrasive and rude and shouldn’t be dealing with people with anxiety and mental health issues or the public in general. Knowing I had to see her made me have panic attacks on my appointment days more than once. She is truly awful, I often cried after seeing her because she made me even more hopeless. On one of my last appointments she yelled at me “what are we doing here?!” and rushed me out after 2 minutes. She clearly hates her patients. Maybe she was good many years ago, but probably not as I don’t think someone who ever cared could treat their patients so rudely and coldly when she knows they’re there for mental health issues. Frankly, most of the staff, especially reception, are miserable too and clearly hate their jobs. Probably because Kollross is in charge of the department and sets the tone. I have witnessed the reception staff yelling at other patients for no reason other than some kind of power trip and because they could. I have finally found care in another health system and my first appointment with them took over 2 hours...an amount of time I didn’t spent with Kollross in FOUR years of appointments combined. I never received any real assessment from Marshfield or Kollross so I have no idea how she even diagnosed me. If you’re able, find someone, ANYONE else and save yourself the extra misery when you’re already going through enough!"

"Waited 30 minutes to see Dr. Kollross. She spent 7 minutes with me and appeared to be in a rush and disengaged. I wouldn't recommend her to anyone."
