"I lived at this apartment for 3 years and honestly the unit is very spacious but they have big time issues. When I moved in I found that the dishwasher and the refrigerator was infested with roaches I asked them to remove it and they said no I had to. It was storages on my patio for months until I wrote a letter to the “apartment police” who in turn sent a letter to the apartment complex and after they received the response all of a sudden they had a change of heart and came to remove it. I had to go out of my way to get rid of them in my unit because what ever bug spray they had definitely didn’t work. At one point they sent pest control to everyone’s home to check for bed bugs because apparently one of the units in the complex ended up with bed bugs which I had no bed bugs. They let the people into my home while I wasn’t there mind you I told them I needed to be there. Well not too long after that visit of theirs I had a horrible infestation of bed bugs. Then the apartments tried to charge me $1800 for the extermination. I had to write a letter threatening to sue them in order to remove the charge. They had hood rats hanging around the neighborhood drinking all day and disrespecting the women. Power would randomly be turned off. Then upon move out they charged me over $3000 to break my lease I paid them and every time I’d open my account online there was an additional charge even after they told me yeah your fine there will be no extra charges. I gave them my forwarding address they never sent my deposit or a letter stating that I owed anything a few months later I go to apply for a new apartment and get denied for owing money… they never told me. I even called the office before applying just to make sure everything was good because they didn’t send me my deposit back so I’m thinking any damages must have been covered by it. They told me I didn’t owe anything. Come to find out they reported to the rent bureau that I owe $315. I go ahead and pay it right away and they tell me basically that I have to wait a whole month before they even report anything. They will do you dirty and retaliate if you move out. Debbie from Customer care lied to my face telling me if I dispute it the manager can see that I paid and will notify the rent bureau. I got a letter in the mail saying my dispute was denied. And I hadn’t paid them smh. This is causing me so much grief and it sucks because I was willing to pay them but they never told me I owed them and now my whole family is being punished for it."

"So I would like to clear up the rumor that they don’t return you your money. I got my money back. I applied on a Saturday I receive my money back on a Tuesday although I wasn’t able to get the apartment because I needed a co sign. The staff was very helpful and friendly Very Knowledgeable"

"I moved to District Apartments November 2023 and I realized the utilities here are extremely high. They use conservice which billed me 80$ for just TRASH. EVERY Month we are having to pay almost 300$ on just Trash ,water, etc. not including electricity and gas. These apartments are so expensive,it's crazy."

"Maintenance is amazing, always prompt and nice as well as on time with their service if not they`ll communicate anything that may take extra unexpected time. 5 stars for them for sure. However, office staff are not great, communication is terrible especially Mari. Anytime you`ll call there`s an attitude or they don`t answer at all no matter earlier in the morning or even after lunch time. Loved when Brooke and Sylvia were there because they are the only ones that are pleasurable to speak with and have great communication. When I moved, I had Move out charges which I was fine with beside the fact I left a pot of flowers on the balcony and were charged a $50 trash out fee which is crazy. Then a payment plan was made but instead I was sent to collections( reflected on my credit immediately ) however when I called to try to get it handled, Assistant Manager Frances, stated it was a mistake on her end but couldn`t do anything about it. Lied stating she would try to get it sorted out but never replied. Lastly, I can say the home itself is very nice. I did have some insects when I received keys however I feel when it comes to apt living it can occur. Best thing to do is leave raid bombs in the home for 4 hours at least twice before fully moving in. I do this at every apt I`ve lived in and I almost never see bugs my entire time living within the home. I also do this as seasons change as well to keep bugs out. Peppermint oil helps too!"
