El Presidio Apartments

"I lived here for years and It was the best place I ever lived in. We're not longer living there since we moved out of town, but if I could go back to Tustin, I would love to live at El Presidio again. It's a very nice place, it is safe and clean and very complex. You have a car spot with storage, and they have a laundry room with enough machines and there's a pool too! All of the Neighbors mind their own business, while respectful and kind to you. And the Manager, Nancy, she's just the best! So kind and helpful, and she always answered/explained our questions understandably. You can always find her in the building, and she also responds to calls and texts on her phone. You can tell she loves her job, always working to maintain the place at its best, and she sincerely cares about the tenants. Thank you, Nancy, and El Presidio Management for all these years of peace and good memories. I miss this place."

"This place truly sucks. Nancy is a terrible manager & doesn’t help at all. I feel like half these reviews saying she’s a good manager are her friends putting in good reviews for her. The complex itself is fine, but she tells the gardeners to blow dirt into carports. There’s homeless people constantly going through the garbage. There’s homeless people who climb on the carports. There’s homeless people who sneak in & sleep behind cars. Nancy likes to record her tenants on their balcony. Her husband gets involved in the neighborly disputes. There was been homeless people breaking into the apartments, cars, or storage units. Nancy doesn’t answer her phone unless you’re a friend of hers at the complex. The unit I’m in has paint chipping everywhere. There is holes in the ceilings where bugs crawl in through. The sliding glass doors don’t fit the hinges. I asked for the AC unit filter to be changed last summer & nothing happened with that. The laundry room is always dirty & hot as hell. No one cleans the filters out of the dryers. The water is constantly being turned off with maybe an hour of a heads up. Don’t bother putting in a complaint about anything to management, because Nancy will tell you “there’s a thin line….” & that she can’t help. She points you to the Tustin Police when she gets overwhelmed because she’s unable to help fix issues. She offered me month to month when I first moved in, then said that they don’t offer it anymore after renewing my lease. I can’t wait to move out of this complex. This place is all lies."

"I will be moving to California soon. I recently toured a 1 bedroom apartment at El Presidio via FaceTime(I did not think I would be able to actually see the apartment other than photos). I have to say I had a great experience with Nancy. She was patient and helpful with all the questions I had. Even though I will not be renting the apartment since I found another one closer to my new job I want to point out the property is great. The property is well taken care of and clean. The 1 bedroom apartment is spacious and love the layout."
