"Avoid this complex. Did a tour with Patty and applied for an apartment. Within two weeks they had raised rent by $250 and told me they would do it again. They will raise rent on you while you live there. It’s predatory. A ONE bedroom is $2,450 right now. That is appalling considering the conditions of this place. There are dead rats in the parking lot and mouse traps out everywhere. No where to park. FAR from luxury. Save your money and go somewhere actually nice."

"Absolutely do not recommend doing business with this company. They approved our lease (signed by all parties) yesterday at 4:22pm. Their website *deleted my account*, so we weren't able to pay by 6pm (their closing time). Rather than scheduling an appointment to do this in person with a check or money order, they canceled our application. The kicker? We're welcome to reapply, but the rent has increased by $500. Renter beware."

"We lived there al most 12 years. I have to say that the staff there now is the best. Veronica and Patty are great to work with. They are always pleasant to talk to and they get you issue resolved in a timely manner. The current maintenance staff is also great. The apartments are getting a little old, but as tenants move out they get upgraded. I would recommend the Commons to anyone looking for a nice place to live."

"Lived here for a year, and would move back in a heartbeat if 1, there was a dog park area; 2, if the carpet had been replaced prior to our move-in (it was clean, but in poor condition); and 3, if rent were more affordable (which, honestly, is an issue everywhere at this point). Office staff were friendly, and Patty was always very responsive whenever we had questions, maintenance requests, etc. Units and complex as a whole are nicely appointed, clean, and quiet. Good amenities. I really miss living here!"

"Don't rent at this place! I lived there for 8 months and it was the worst rental experience I have ever had. The complex looks very nice from the outside and the apartments looks nice too but once you sign the lease you are stuck with an unprofessional staff. When I moved in I found that the dishwasher is broken. I asked them to fix it. They sent their technician twice and each time they claimed it is fixed. It took them approximately a month and half to fix it. The kitchen was full of ants, when I told them about it they said its normal and that they have to follow certain steps to get rid of the ants. Those steps took them a month. I stayed for a month not able to cook or use the kitchen because anytime I put food on the counter the ants get all over it. The last thing when I went to the office and told them that I would like to terminate my lease. The lady at the office told me that I am required to give a 30 days notice and that I will be required to pay lease buy out which is a one month of rent. So I gave them a 30 days notice and planned for the 1 month rent buy out. After moving out, I found them charging me a lot more than one month. When I asked, they told me you were supposed to give a 60 days notice so you are responsible to pay the difference. I tried to explain to the lady that her coworker told me it's only 30 days notice and that I planned accordingly, her response was it was an "HONEST" mistake and that I still have to pay the difference. I am not the kind of guys that write reviews but they got me really pissed off and frustrated to the point that I have to warn other people!"
