Motel 6 Ventura, CA - Beach

"Famous and familiar Motel 6, not strangers to room accommodation. Always clean and comfortable, the rooms are suited with hundreds of channels for TV viewing. Free coffee and donuts. Close to the beaches if you chose this Ventura, California location. The convenience is unlimited with stores and gas stations, also charging stations for you electric vehicles."

"Wow. Top worst motel experiences. Spend the extra $40 to stay at any other motel than this one. Highlights of our stay: - The wifi does not work. - There is no coffee maker in the room. - There is no microwave in the room. - If you ask for any of these amenities, they say they can’t offer them to you. - You get two small pillows for a full size bed. - You get two small thin scratchy towels. - There is loud construction noise going on all day long. - Our room smelled so badly of smoke, it started hurting our lungs. We literally had to move rooms. If ALL you are looking for is a cheap bed, then go for it. But if you spending any longer than 10 hours in this motel, I recommend you find something else."

"The WORST motel every! I'm not picky when it comes to places to stay, but here I reached my breaking point. Stayed here May 2023, checked out 3 days early. They rent rooms out for long term living, which there starts the problems. Party city, people outside our door talking loud every night. No room service. Lied to by the staff. Trying to sleep was almost impossible, due to a light in the parking lot shining at our window. When we checked out, left early, the staff really didn't care. When we tried to get a refund, we were lied too, no help from Motel 6. This Motel did tell the Motel 6 chain, that we did not check out early. We proved them wrong by providing receipts from another motel. Thankfully once we got our travel agency involved, they did get us a refund. When we checked out early, I was willing to for go a refund. I would preferred sleeping on the beach, over this place. We flew from Pennsylvania to Los Angeles, drove to the motel, not sure how they expect people to stay and not receive basic room service?"

"Non-smoking room was clean overall, but awful former cigarette smoke residue & effect etc, could feel it on me next morning inside & out, not healthy. Sink faucet was loose and seemingly coming apart, very difficult to switch between cold and hot water. Flow was not great either. I did not use the shower. The bed and the two pillows were most uncomfortable, very surprising even for a Motel 6… Lumpy, frumpy, and not good for the body and neck. Overall property and premises was pretty old and not kept up very well, very dated and displeasing. Male front office clerk late on a Tuesday night was completely unfriendly, not welcoming at all, and sort of a creepy vibe, subjective as that sounds. I’m surprised Motel 6 doesn’t have a better person to check folks in, especially at night."
