Red Roof Inn Hayward

"This hotel room has a serious infestation issue. I killed multiple roaches in my room and informed the front desk. The internet also sucks (couldn’t connect), microwave was missing plate and the extra light in the restroom didn’t work. The family that owns the hotel didn’t seem to care Mainly about the roaches. I left the hotel the same day… cannot stay in a hotel that has infestation problems."

"Issues with check in process, rooms need desperate upgrades, lots of marijuana smoking inside the rooms, the smell of the room was horrible due to what ever they are using to clean them. The final issue was that my vehicle was broken into on the second night of my four day stay, naturally I checked out early. NOT AT ALL IMPRESSED."

"Very rude front desk staff , he is a middle aged man with gray suit . Ask for early check in , he didn’t even check just said no . But their website says they do have early check in. And they have child in their office making noises. 100% not a professional hotel,more like a family inn . I have been here so many times but 100% not coming back."

However, to my dismay, the staff at Red Roof showed zero empathy or willingness to assist. They callously informed me that they do not offer any room switches or refunds for such errors. Now, I understand that this policy might be mentioned somewhere on their website, but as someone who booked through Priceline, I did not have the opportunity to familiarize myself with these terms. What truly adds insult to injury is the hotel's abysmal customer service. The indifference displayed by the staff throughout my interactions was shocking. I was met with dismissive attitudes and a lack of professionalism. It felt as though they couldn't care less about my concerns or my overall experience at their establishment. A little compassion and understanding would have gone a long way in improving this situation, but alas, it was nowhere to be found. To make matters worse, the Red Roof Inn failed to meet even the most basic standards of cleanliness and comfort. The room I was assigned appeared to have been neglected for ages. The sheets were stained, the carpet was filthy, and the bathroom was in dire need of a deep clean. It was evident that the management had little regard for the upkeep of their facilities. Overall, my stay at Red Roof Inn was a complete and utter disaster. From their unaccommodating policies to their appalling customer service and lackluster cleanline"

"Very nice room when they give you a clean one. Best draperies I've ever seen in a Redroof Inn room. VERY nice BASIC furniture in the room itself. Nice touch on the modern stylish sink. Having wash clothes and towels in the room would also be nice. After speaking with housekeeping they brought me hand towels. Guess they do provide was clothes. NOTE: A sign on the office door says entrance around the corner. Nope! that was the entrance. Very confused. Now that I'm in my room I'm comfortable."
