"I'm not very picky. Safe and clean are my highest expectations. This place did, however, exceed my expectations. Nice bed, microwave, fridge/ freezer, TV and internet. Seems to have been newly renovated. No bathtub, no coffee."

"Not recommended for tourists to stay. We paid for the reservations (2 rooms)in advance, but front desk can't find the record and wanted to charge for more money. Called American Best Value website and it took a while for the front desk to locate the reservations. No elevator, must carry suitcase to upper level. Lack of soaps, shampoo and towels for two guests. Cost more than Motel 6 for the same room, services, amenities. Stay away from American Best Value Inn website. Horrible services, unable to keep paid reservations up-to-date, difficult to get information. We waited for more than half hour in the hot weather before they answered the phone and fixed their mistake. They claimed is not their mistake, then I wonder whose fault is it. Never to use American Best Value Inn again."

"The room was clean and modest. The lady at the counter was helpful in making sure I got a room upstairs. I did have two concerns. There was 8 cop cars across the street at the local grocery which made me a little nervous. The other thing was the door frame wasn't framed in correctly. When it was night time I could see the hall light coming through the door with only the deadbolt to keep it locked."
